LaBelle woman accused of drunk driving the wrong way on I-75 makes first court appearance

LEE COUNTY, Fla. (WINK) — A LaBelle woman accused of driving the wrong way on I-75 early Sunday morning made her first court appearance at the Lee County Courthouse on Monday.

The judge set the bond for $30,000. Arreola will also be required to have monitored supervision and is subject to random drug testing.

Troopers responded to reports of an SUV traveling south in the northbound lanes at mile marker 150 at 2:31 a.m. The vehicle was located at mile marker 143 at the Bayshore Road exit four minutes later.

Troopers performed a PIT maneuver, which rotated the SUV and brought it to a stop. The driver was placed under arrest. Ana Cassandra Arreola was booked into the Lee County Jail on a charge of driving under the influence. Troopers said her blood alcohol content was .161.

Arreola's next court appearance is set for July 6.
