SOUTHWEST FLORIDA (WINK) — Isolated storms continue across Southwest Florida this Monday evening before fizzling out and leaving us with a mostly cloudy sky overnight.
Tuesday morning will feature just a few clouds, with lows in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Expect a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day, with temperatures topping out in the mid-90s during the afternoon.
Isolated storms will first develop during the early afternoon before shifting farther east and inland through the late afternoon and evening. Rain coverage on Tuesday sits at 30%.
Afternoon high temperatures will run above normal each day this week, reaching the mid-90s. For comparison, our typical highs this time of year are in the lower 90s.
Scattered afternoon and evening storms (40-50% rain coverage) are expected Wednesday through Friday, with the highest rainfall totals likely occurring across inland and eastern communities.
The tropics are quiet with no development forecast through the next 7 days in the Caribbean, Gulf, or Atlantic.
