Scottish firefighters visit South Trail Fire & Rescue District station, leaves with traffic cone

FORT MYERS, Fla. (WINK) — Amid their touring of Florida for the 2026 World Cup, firefighters visiting from Scotland made a pit stop at the South Trail Fire & Rescue District before heading to Miami to watch their country play its soccer match. 

On Tuesday, the South Trail Fire & Rescue District posted on its Facebook account about the Scottish firefighters' excitement about the incoming match. 

South Trail Fire said their visitors came bearing donuts and plenty of positive energy as they walked into the station's bay.

Before the visiting firefighters left for Miami, South Trail Fire completed their visit with a parting gift—a traffic cone.
