Cape Coral councilwoman Rachel Kaduk expected in court as DUI trial continues

CAPE CORAL, Fla. (WINK) — Cape Coral City Councilwoman Rachel Kaduk is expected in court on Wednesday as her DUI case moves forward.

Kaduk was arrested in December and is charged with driving under the influence and refusing a breathalyzer test.

Body camera video from Cape Coral police shows Kaduk performing several field sobriety tests after officers pulled her over. The video shows her walking heel to toe along a line before officers placed her in handcuffs and in the back of a squad car.

Kaduk was taken to police headquarters before being booked into the Lee County jail.

She has pleaded not guilty and completed DUI school.

Kaduk is scheduled to be in court at 1 p.m. for her trial.
