Charlotte County Sheriff's Office search for 69-year-old woman last seen on Little Gasparilla Island

The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office is searching for a 69-year-old woman last seen on Little Gasparilla Island on Thursday.

According to the sheriff's office, Kathryn L. Caulkins was last seen on the beach in the area of Don Pedro State Park around 6:30 p.m., looking for shark teeth in the water.

Deputies said Caulkins is a white woman, 5 feet, 3 inches tall with red hair. She was reportedly last seen wearing a cover-up over a swimsuit.

The sheriff's office said to contact its non-emergency line at 941-639-2101 if you have any information regarding her whereabouts or recent sightings.
