Lehigh Acres man arrested following Cape Coral drug bust

A Lehigh Acres man was arrested in Cape Coral after officers say he was trafficking in drugs.

According to the Cape Coral Police Department, their Narcotics Unit has been investigating Johnny Glover, 36, to support outstanding trafficking charges against him. They say they conducted a buy-bust operation on Glover, which was scheduled to occur on Wednesday at the parking lot of the Circle K on Southeast 26th Street.

Officers say Glover arrived at that location in a rideshare vehicle and was taken into custody. Glover, a convicted felon, was in possession of a handgun, pink taser, fentanyl, cocaine and other illegal narcotics, CCPD says.

CCPD says they also connected Glover to prior transactions with Alex Saff, 24, who is currently in custody on unrelated charges. Saff was served with charges related to this investigation.

Glover was taken to the Lee County Jail on the following charges:

• 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell
• Possession of a controlled substance
• 2 counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Trafficking in methamphetamine
