SOUTHWEST FLORIDA (WINK) — WINK News Weather Authority meteorologists are tracking a bit more rain for more Southwest Florida communities over the coming days.
Seeing a slightly cooler morning with temperatures in the 70s. Plan for another round of scattered storms (50% coverage) Thursday with more of those storms closer to coastal communities. Temperatures continue to heat up with highs in the mid 90s. "Feels like" temperatures will range from 100 - 105°.
Starting mild and humid once again Friday morning with temperatures in the 70s and lower 80s. Temperatures climb quickly with highs climbing into the mid to upper 90s. "Feels like" temperatures will range from 102 - 108°. We'll see scattered storms (40% coverage) developing throughout the afternoon and continuing into the evening.
Tracking a little bit of Saharan dust Saturday, but it won't be dense enough to cause any impacts. The limited dust won't limit the storms as scattered storms (40% coverage) are forecast to pop up in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will be quite hot and in the mid to upper 90s. "Feels like" temperatures will range from 104 - 110° and a heat advisory may be issued for parts of Southwest Florida.
