Dump truck catches fire on Aloha Road in San Carlos Park

SAN CARLOS PARK, Fla. — A dump truck caught fire in San Carlos Park on Monday afternoon, prompting a quick response from local firefighters.

According to the San Carlos Park Fire Protection & Rescue Service District, crews were called out to the 8000 block of Aloha Rd. around 5:25 p.m.

Firefighters arrived to find the dump truck heavily engulfed in flames and worked to put out the fire before it could spread.

The district said no injuries were reported.

Aloha Rd. at Knight Dr. was temporarily blocked while crews handled fire operations at the scene.
