Florida Highway Patrol troopers have located what they suspect to be the truck involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash that took the life of a pedestrian in Clewiston Sunday morning.

According to FHP, troopers located the 1999 Ford Ranger, which is the suspected vehicle used in the deadly hit-and-run, in Osceola County. FHP said that exhaustive investigative efforts were made to locate the truck.
FHP continues to search for the driver of the truck.
The crash occurred early Sunday morning. FHP said that a pedestrian was attempting to cross the travel lanes of US-27 when they were hit by a truck approaching Francisco Street. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
FHP said that post-collision, the driver of the truck left the scene.
