Crews extinguish dump truck fire in San Carlos Park

Firefighters extinguished a dump truck on fire in San Carlos Park on Monday.

According to the San Carlos Park Fire District, crews were dispatched to a vehicle fire on the 8000 block of Aloha Road at around 5:25 p.m.

When crews arrived, they found a dump truck engulfed in flames. Firefighters extinguished the fire before it could spread further.

Aloha Road at Knight Drive was blocked temporarily as a result of the blaze. No injuries were reported.
