Florida drivers can now show their support for wildlife conservation with the release of the new 2026-2027 manatee and sea turtle decals.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) says each $5 decal donation helps fund research, rescue, rehabilitation, monitoring and management programs for two of the state's most recognizable marine species.
This year's sea turtle decal highlights Florida's record-breaking 2025 leatherback nesting season, when biologists documented 2,012 nests statewide. The design also serves as a reminder for beachgoers to give nesting sea turtles plenty of space as they come ashore.
The 2026-2027 manatee decal commemorates the 25th anniversary of the Manatee Rescue & Rehabilitation Partnership, a network of more than 20 organizations that work together to rescue, rehabilitate, release and monitor manatees throughout Florida.
The decals are available for purchase at tax collectors' offices across Florida.
FWC also reminds the public to report injured, sick, entangled, distressed, or deceased manatees and sea turtles by calling the Wildlife Alert Hotline at 888-404-3922.
