"Earning our first A district rating in 15 years is a tremendous achievement and a proud moment for Charlotte County Public Schools," Superintendent Mark Vianello said.
"This milestone represents the dedication of our students, employees, families, community partners and everyone who has invested in the success of our schools," Vianello said. "When a community comes together to support its students, extraordinary things happen."
The district's A rating demonstrates progress across multiple accountability measures, including student achievement, learning gains, graduation outcomes and college and career readiness indicators. The results align with the district's strategic focus on increasing academic rigor, strengthening instructional support and preparing every student for success after graduation.
"Charlotte County's strong support for public education made this achievement possible," School Board Chair John LeClair said. "On behalf of the Charlotte County School Board, I could not be more proud of what we have accomplished together."
