One person was transported to a local hospital after being hit by a car near the intersection of US-41 and Sanibel Boulevard near San Carlos Park.
According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the scene of a crash just before 11 p.m. Tuesday night.
Deputies said that a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and sustained injuries. They were transported to a local hospital.
No roads were closed at the time of the crash.
