A Lee County man is wanted after failing to show up in court following an arrest for two counts of drug possession.
According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, Bill Fox, 44, was a passenger in a car that was pulled over at around 4 a.m. When the deputy asked the driver and Fox to exit the vehicle, they found a bag of cocaine, pills, and drug paraphernalia right next to Fox.
Fox was arrested before being released on bond until his next court date. Fox then failed to show up for his court date, which led to a new warrant for his arrest, Crime Stoppers said.
Fox is a repeat offender with 14 prior arrests for the sale and delivery of meth and cocaine, grand theft auto, contempt of court, resisting arrest, and three DUIs.
Fox is 6'2", weighs 145 pounds and was last known to be living in Lehigh Acres, Crime Stoppers said.
If you have information in this case, you are asked to contact Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477), on the P3 app, or on its website. You can remain anonymous, and if your tip leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.
