NORTH NAPLES, Fla. (WINK) — A three-alarm fire broke out at a home on Hickory Road Saturday morning.
Dispatch was first alerted to a fire alarm at the location at 9:45 a.m. The Collier County Sheriff's Office and North Collier Fire responded and found an active fire inside the home.
The fire was brought under control at 11:23 a.m. An occupant of the home was transported to the hospital for burns.
A firefighter was also transported to the hospital for heat exhaustion. The family of the firefighter has been notified.
Hickory Road will remain closed between Carisa Road and Gordonia Road. CCSO remains on scene along with fire, EMS and the State Fire Marshal investigating the residential fire.
This remains an active investigation.
