The Lee County Sheriff's Office corrections cleanup initiative is working to clean up roads and more, and wants the public's input in identifying areas that need attention.
The group of inmates, called "Carmine's Corrections Cleanup Crew," cleans up communities, abandoned camps, and roadways as part of a county-wide beautification project.
LCSO posted photos on Facebook showcasing the group's efforts.
Lee County residents are encouraged to report areas that need attention. According to LCSO, crews will be sent out to address those locations.
Residents with an area in need of attention can contact the cleanup crew by emailing CarminesCleanupCrew@sheriffleefl.org.
