SOUTHWEST FLORIDA (WINK) — WINK News Weather Authority meteorologists are tracking another round of scattered storms as we begin this work week.
Tracking a few coastal showers as you get out the door this Monday morning. While a break in those showers is expected late in the morning through noon, more storms begin to build in the early afternoon. Scattered rain and storms (50% coverage) will be likely for many communities throughout the afternoon and early evening. Highs top out in the lower to mid 90s before that rain cools areas off. Showers dissipate in the evening hours.
Our onshore flow continues to bring a few showers towards the coast Tuesday morning. While we'll see some rain, most areas start dry with temperatures in the 70s. Scattered storms (50% coverage) build throughout the day with storms likely in the afternoon throuhgout the early evening. Temperatures will trend a bit hotter with highs in the lower to mid 90s.
A few coastal showers and thunderstorms are possible Wednesday as temperatures start in the 70s. We'll see a little less storm coverage Wednesday with scattered storms (40% coverage) building in the afternoon continuing into the early evening. Temperatures top out in the mid 90s Wednesady afternoon with "fels like" temperatures ranging from 103 - 108°.
