A Fort Myers man was sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to 20 child pornography charges, according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office.
LCSO says that in September 2024, their Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit received a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children about child sexual abuse material being distributed in Fort Myers.
Detectives obtained and executed a search warrant for a home in the 170 block of Yager Circle, where Jeremie Buen, 42, was living. Child sexual abuse material was found on Buen's devices, and he later admitted to sending and receiving child sexual abuse material on his phone.
Buen was arrested in 2025 and charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography and 10 counts of transmission of child pornography. He pleaded guilty to all charges in April.
Buen was sentenced to 25 years in the Florida Department of Corrections and an additional 15 years of sex offender probation.
