Active investigation underway in Immokalee, several deputy vehicles deployed

IMMOKALEE, Fla. (WINK) — The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is on scene conducting an active investigation in Immokalee.

Deputies responded to the scene near 9th Street at around 8:30 a.m. on Friday.

Several deputy vehicles are on scene, as law enforcement has closed off a portion of 9th Street to conduct their investigation. It remains unclear why deputies are on scene or how long their investigation will last.
