IMMOKALEE, Fla. (WINK) — The Collier County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man accused of committing a double homicide in Immokalee.
On Friday, deputies arrested Lorenzo Coleman, 25, after responding to a reported possible shooting at an address on North 9th Street at 8:34 a.m.
According to the sheriff’s office, Coleman knew both victims and was quickly developed as a suspect in their investigation.
Several deputy vehicles were deployed in the area to search for Coleman, who allegedly fled the scene in a white Dodge Challenger.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office located Coleman when they responded to a disturbance on Lonestar Lane in Lehigh Acres at around 10 a.m., taking him into custody.
According to Collier County deputies, charges are pending, and the investigation remains active.
