Man accused of double homicide in Immokalee held without bond

IMMOKALEE, Fla. (WINK) — An Immokalee man accused of shooting and killing two women will be held without bond following his court appearance.

Lorenzo Coleman, 25, was arrested on Friday after a multi-county search was conducted following the reported double shooting occurring at a home on North 9th Street. Two women, ages 25 and 29, were found dead by law enforcement.

WINK News worked to identify the two women, Rheannon and Eliza Robbins, on Monday. Our team spoke with the victim’s family regarding their devastating loss. 

"I was in shock, I couldn't sleep for two days," Mazzy Robbins said. ”I looked at Eliza as a sister, and Eliza was the closest cousin. Eliza and Rheannon will always be missed."

Coleman appeared in court on Tuesday, where the judge overseeing his case determined that he will be held without bond on the murder charges, $50,000 for child abuse, and $25,000 for Grand Theft of a motor vehicle.

Judge Deborah Cunningham added the order, saying, "There is a no contact order with the witnesses in the case listed in the order, as well as a GPS monitor prior to release if he is released. And there shall be no possession of firearms or ammunition, and he's not to purchase any. And I am signing a no-weapons order."
