84-year-old Immokalee man found dead in a canal in the Florida Keys

Monroe County deputies are investigating the death of an 84-year-old Immokalee man who was found dead in a canal in Marathon Monday morning.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a residence on Sombrero Beach Road at approximately 8:55 a.m., where they found Jackie Williams dead in the canal behind the home.

According to MCSO, foul play does not appear to be a factor, and autopsy results are pending.
