Northbound Via Coconut Point at Williams Road in Estero will be closed for nearly two weeks as crews install drainage infrastructure for the Estero SportsPark/High 5 turn lane improvement project.
The closure started Monday and is scheduled to last until Friday, July 31.
Drivers are advised to use caution through the Via Coconut Point and Williams Road roundabout, and alternate routes are available via U.S.-41 or Three Oaks Parkway.
The Estero SportsPark, located along Williams Road next to Estero High School, will include amenities such as softball, baseball, and football fields, as well as a driving range. Phase one of the project, which broke ground in February, includes site work, infrastructure updates, and road construction. The phase is expected to be completed in late 2026 and provide access to the High 5 entertainment venue.
The High 5 development is among the first of several entertainment projects planned for Estero, centered on the idea of bringing sports and recreation together in one spot. The venue will have indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, mini-golf, bowling, and arcades.
