Tropical depression 2 has formed in the Gulf

FLORIDA, (WINK) - Invest 91L is now termed Tropical Depression Two, currently located over the Northeastern Gulf.

The area of low pressure now  has a more defined center of circulation, with winds of 30 mph.

This will continue to move toward the NW, leaving us with scattered storms on and off throughout the day, and gusty winds at times.

Tropical Storm Bertha is likely to form as early as tomorrow morning, bringing heavy rainfall as its biggest threat to the Northern Gulf coast.

Tropical storm watches are in effect for Ochlockonee River to the FL/AL border Not expected to intensify farther than a tropical storm.
