CAPE CORAL, Fla. (WINK) — The City of Cape Coral released financial and operational records to the Florida Department of Government Efficiency as part of a review of local government information.
The records include information on contracts, vendors, change orders, purchase orders, personnel data, technology spending and construction permits.
The City of Cape Coral said they received the records request from Florida DOGE on May 26.
In 2025, Gov. Ron DeSantis pushed forward Florida DOGE with the goal of reducing state spending, mirroring the federal model pushed by Elon Musk.
All the documents requested by Florida DOGE are available here.
