Drainage repairs begin on Periwinkle Way on Sanibel

Beginning Tuesday, the City of Sanibel's contractor will begin drainage repairs along Periwinkle Way.

According to the city, the repairs will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, to Friday, July 24. The drainage repairs will be along Periwinkle Way from Dixie Beach Boulevard to Bailey Road in various areas on the south side of the road, including the shared-use path.

Due to the nature of the work, one lane of Periwinkle Way may intermittently close for brief periods of time, and drivers should expect delays, according to the city.
