Player to Watch: Immokalee High School WR/DB Marshon Jackson

Over the years, we’ve seen some incredible talent arise from Immokalee High School.

Hall of Famers both on and off the field, and now, the Indians have someone who might just be next up.

Marshon Jackson is a playmaker on both sides of the football.

In 2025, he scored 12 touchdowns while recording three interceptions for Immokalee.

Immokalee WR/DB Marshon Jackson said, “I have very much to prove being a smaller receiver going against people very much bigger than me, stronger than me. I feel that I have more to prove and just have to build my game.”

Immokalee Head Football Coach James Delgado said, “He’s pretty dang special and there’s not much he can’t do on the football field. You can see him on offense, on defense, and special teams at any given time doing something really incredible. He’s become one of those area guys to watch because anytime he lines up on the field, you have to say he’s one of the top guys on it no matter who he lines up against.”

The Indians have had their season ended in the Regional Semifinals for three straight seasons, but this year, they’re making a push for their first state title since 2004.
Marshon said, “I feel like we’re going to have a great season coming up. We have a great coach; he’s building us to be one team. When things are going bad, keep building, keep fighting no matter what the case may be.”

Coach Delgado said, “We’ve had success in recent years because of that work that’s gone in, but we’re not satisfied with that. We want more, we’ve worked towards more, we expect more.”
