Boil water notice lifted in Babcock Ranch

BABCOCK RANCH, Fla. (WINK) — The entire Babcock Ranch community was under a precautionary boil water notice on Friday, but it has since been lifted.

As of Sunday, all required regulatory testing has been completed, and, effective immediately, it is no longer necessary to boil your drinking water.

The notice was issued after a brief loss of power at the water treatment plant.

The power outage was related to Phase III construction activity.
