Deputies conduct active death investigation in Lehigh Acres

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. (WINK) — The Lee County Sheriff's Office is on the scene conducting an active death investigation in a Lehigh Acres neighborhood.

On Monday, deputies established their presence near the 4500 block of SW 22nd Street.

Lee County deputies confirmed they are on location, conducting an active death investigation at around 11:45 a.m.

A WINK News crew is on the scene and working to gather more information.
