New spa brings personalized skincare and waterfront relaxation to Fishermen's Village

PUNTA GORDA, Fla. (WINK) — Looking to treat yourself? A new spa in Punta Gorda is helping people relax while delivering results.

Asthetik Spa and Skincare has officially opened inside Fishermen's Village, bringing customized skincare treatments, massage therapy and beauty services to the popular waterfront destination. The boutique spa offers more than a peaceful atmosphere. It also features scenic views of Charlotte Harbor, making every appointment feel like a mini getaway.

Co-owner Jen Pfropper said the new location is designed to be more than just a place to unwind. "The spa focuses on personalized treatments tailored to each client's skincare goals," Pfropper said. "We're results-driven, so while we want you relaxed and enjoying the experience, we're also going to target exactly what your skin needs."

Guests can choose from a variety of services, including customized facials, hydrodermabrasion, dermaplaning, LED light therapy, chemical peels, microneedling, massage therapy and lash and brow treatments. The spa also offers its own award-winning skincare line, giving clients the opportunity to continue their skincare routine at home.

That skincare line has earned several honors, including a CertClean Beauty Award and Serum of the Year recognition. Co-owner Alexis Pfropper said the products are carefully formulated with both performance and clean ingredients in mind. "Clean beauty means a lot of different things to different people," Alexis Pfropper said. "For us, it means plant-based, effective and cruelty-free."

The move to Fishermen's Village marks a major milestone for the mother-daughter business. Alexis said they quickly outgrew their previous 700-square-foot location after consistently booking appointments months in advance, "Once my mom and I saw this space, we knew we had to jump at the chance," Alexis Pfropper said.

Their journey hasn't always been easy. Alexis opened the original spa just one week before COVID-19 shutdowns began in 2020. Rather than giving up, she adapted by creating a skincare line to help clients care for their skin from home.

"COVID-19 actually started the skincare line," Alexis Pfropper said. "I thought, 'How can I help people with their skin without touching them?' We talked to our customers about their concerns, created products around their needs, and from there it just grew."

Now, six years later, the business has expanded into a larger waterfront space where the owners hope to continue helping clients look and feel their best right here in Fishermen's Village

Appointments and walk-ins are available throughout the week as Asthetik Spa and Skincare welcomes new and returning clients to its new home in Fishermen's Village.
