SOUTHWEST FLORIDA, (WINK) — The Weather Authority is monitoring heavy rain impacts throughout Southwest Florida, as our Weather Watchers contribute photos of flooding throughout the area.
On Thursday, our meteorologists called for isolated showers and storms throughout the day, with breezier conditions expected this afternoon. Highs will be seasonal and in the upper 80s to lower 90s.
Weather Watcher Tim Crout captured photos of Thursday’s rain impacts in Port Charlotte, in which a vehicle was seen partially submerged in a flooded side street.
Reporter Brinkley Hill is en route to Port Charlotte to display the weather impact on the area.
