A man was arrested on Tuesday after being accused of indecent exposure at a Collier County park. According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office arrest report, at around 6:05 p.m., deputies responded to the area of 23rd Avenue Southwest regarding a report of a man urinating in front of people at Aaron Lutz Park. Deputies spoke with the victim, who said she was at the park with her children when she saw a man acting weird. The victim told deputies she didn't feel comfortable and told her children they had to leave. The victim took her kids to her car and noticed that the man got up from the picnic tables and walked quickly toward her. She said he then exposed himself and began urinating in front of her and her kids, the arrest report said. Deputies identified the suspect as Kyrus Filer, 34, and spoke with him, the report said. Filer told deputies that he had an emergency at the park and had to urinate badly, but denied doing so in front of people, claiming he had urinated behind a tree. Filer was arrested and faces a charge of indecent exposure.
