Person hospitalized after fall from apartment building in Fort Myers

A male was hospitalized after he fell from an apartment building onto a parking garage on Edwards Drive in Fort Myers on Friday. According to the Fort Myers Fire Department, he fell from the seventh floor of Edison Grand onto the top of the garage. Crews were able to get him down from the elevator and he was taken to the hospital. Gulf Coast News has asked the fire department and the Fort Myers Police Department about how he fell.
