No injuries reported after attic fire in Babcock Ranch

No injuries have been reported after an attic caught on fire at a Babcock Ranch home on Saturday, according to Charlotte County Fire & EMS. Crews say that they responded to a home on Expedition Court when a caller reported smoke coming from the eaves of the home. They then found smoke and a working fire in the attic. Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire, and the American Red Cross has been notified to assist the displaced family.
