Southwest jet from RSW towed off runway after landing in Chicago with two flat tires

A flight from Southwest Florida International Airport was swarmed by emergency crews upon its landing at Chicago Midway Airport on Monday morning. According to a spokesperson for Southwest Airlines, both nose gear tires on Southwest Airlines Flight 1243, which departed from Fort Myers, lost air pressure while landing in Chicago. The flight landed in Chicago shortly after 7 a.m. local time. Mechanics responded to the plane while on the runway, changed the tires, and towed the aircraft to the gate, Southwest Airlines said. "We apologize for any inconvenience to our Customers. Nothing is more important to Southwest than the Safety of our Customers and Employees," a statement from Southwest Airlines said.
