SOUTHWEST FLORIDA (WINK) — Good morning, SWFL! We are kicking temperatures off on the muggy side in the mid 70s inland and upper 70s and low 80s inland. A few coastal showers and storms are expected this morning. These storms will become more scattered around lunchtime.
This afternoon, scattered storms will shift inland, to the east of I-75, as westerly winds increase between 5-10 mph. Storms will taper off this evening around sunset.
Afternoon temperatures are expected around 90° but will be in the 80s where more rain falls. Factor in the humidity, it will feel more like 98-102°.
Tomorrow will again feature morning isolated showers followed by scattered afternoon storms. With the steering pattern shifting, more of us will be dodging rain drops tomorrow with rain chances up to 60%.
Winds out the east on Thursday and Friday will bring SWFL dry morning followed by developing storms each afternoon and evening.
