North Port firefighters free kitten stuck in Walgreens propane locker

NORTH PORT, Fla. (WINK)— North Port Fire Rescue crews freed a kitten that got its head stuck in a propane exchange locker outside a Walgreens. They say the curious kitten managed to wedge its head into the locker.

Fire rescue crews responded to the call and worked to safely extract the animal. With patience and teamwork, crews freed the kitten from the locker.

Animal Services arrived at the scene and scanned the kitten for a microchip. No owner could be identified. A Walgreens employee adopted the kitten on the spot, giving the little adventurer a new forever home.
