One of Southwest Florida's most anticipated sporting events returns this September, as ROAR Offshore brings the 2026 Fort Myers Beach Offshore Powerboat Race back to the Gulf Coast. According to a news release from ROAR Offshore, the event will run from September 11 to 13, representing a three-day celebration of speed, community, and American resilience. The event is expected to attract tens of thousands of spectators to Fort Myers Beach. "ROAR Offshore is much more than a race weekend," said Jacki Liszak, President and CEO of the Greater Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce. "It is a celebration of our community's remarkable comeback and an opportunity to showcase everything that makes Fort Myers Beach such a special destination. Visitors from across the country will experience our beautiful beaches, outstanding restaurants, unique businesses, world-class hospitality, and the resilience that defines our island." Festivities begin on September 11, with race team arrivals, inspections, official practice sessions, qualifying, and welcome events. September 12 will feature qualifying heats, high-speed racing action, the Pit Party, sponsor hospitality events, and premium waterfront viewing opportunities. The celebration wraps up on September 13, with Championship Day, featuring warm-ups, offshore races, the awards ceremony, and an America 250 Closing Celebration. To learn more, click here.
