Teens arrested, accused of robbing iPhone seller at Cape Coral Waffle House

CAPE CORAL, Fla. (WINK)— Two juveniles were arrested after a daylight robbery at a Waffle House on Del Prado Boulevard South on Aug. 4.

Officers with the Cape Coral Police Department responded to the restaurant at 4642 Del Prado Blvd. S. after a victim reported being robbed during an arranged Facebook Marketplace meet-up to sell an iPhone valued at approximately $400.

According to investigators, one of the suspects snatched the phone from the victim's hands, pushed him in the chest and fled on foot with an accomplice. The victim chased the suspects before losing sight of them nearby.

Witnesses and the victim provided descriptions of the suspects to officers: a taller Black male with dreadlocks, and a mixed-race male with facial piercings and dreadlocks partially dyed blonde.

Working quickly, patrol officers traced the suspects to a nearby residence on Orchid Boulevard. Three juveniles matching the descriptions were detained. Detectives in the Violent Crimes Unit responded to investigate.

During subsequent show-up identifications, both the victim and a witness positively identified Leptune Prinville 11/08/2008) and Noah Felissaint (04/04/2011) as the individuals involved in the robbery. Both suspects were arrested and charged with robbery by sudden snatching and transported to the Lee County Juvenile Assessment Center.
