Bradenton man accused of burglarizing car in Charlotte County, stealing sunglasses worth over $200

A Bradenton man is accused of burglarizing a car in Charlotte County, taking a pair of sunglasses worth more than $200, and more. According to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office arrest report, deputies responded to a report of a car burglary on August 4. The victim told deputies that sometime between August 3 and August 4, their car had been burglarized while parked at a home. The stolen items were identified as a pair of Brow Leopard Coach sunglasses, valued at $226, approximately $80 in cash, and a blue emergency roadside assistance bag, valued at $30, the report said. The victim provided deputies with surveillance footage that showed a man approach the vehicle while pushing an electric bike. The man then entered the vehicle through the driver's side door and remained inside for about four minutes, rummaging through the vehicle's contents, the report said. The man then got out of the car and began to rummage through the passenger side of the vehicle, exiting with a blue bag he did not have before, the report said. The man then checked the trunk of the vehicle before leaving on the e-bike. The man was identified as Eugene Bisson, 27, CCSO said. He was identified by a deputy who noticed the distinct tattoo on the suspect's hand, which matched photos from prior bookings. Deputies located Bisson and arrested him. He faces charges of burglary of an occupied conveyance and petit theft (3rd offense).
