Daughter of Cape Coral woman found dead in Charlotte County says arrest made in case a year later

The daughter of a Cape Coral woman found dead in Charlotte County says an arrest has been made in connection with her death more than a year later. Brenda Corbin's daughter tells Gulf Coast News she has been speaking with a detective in the case. Corbin's body was found a few days after she was reported missing along a private farm road next to Bermont Road. Corbin was last seen on May 19, 2025, near Southeast 18th Avenue in Cape Coral.
