Fort Myers asks for public feedback on downtown traffic study

Fort Myers is asking residents to share their experiences and suggestions for improving the downtown traffic corridor as part of a new study through an online survey. The study covers First Street and Palm Beach Boulevard, along with Second Street and Seaboard Street, between Fowler Street and the First and Seaboard intersection. This area was converted to two-way traffic in 2023. City officials and their partners are examining long-term changes to enhance safety and access for drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists. A survey is inviting people who use the corridor to provide feedback on their experiences and what they believe needs to change.
