A Fort Myers man has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for enticing minors to engage in sexual activity, among other charges. According to the Department of Justice, Michael Lawrence Milewski, 32, was sentenced after pleading guilty to charges of enticing minors to engage in sexual activity, receiving and possessing images and videos depicting the sexual abuse of children, and transferring obscene matter to a minor. On top of the 30-year prison sentence, Milewski was also sentenced to a life term of supervised release and was ordered to register as a sex offender. Court documents said that from December 2024 through February 2025, Milewski used social media to persuade, induce and entice minors to engage in sexual activity. In June 2025, an investigation was launched into Milewski after a minor reported that she had been communicating with an adult online who had requested sexual images and videos of her. Milewski's social media records were searched and revealed messages that were sexual in nature and that Milewski had engaged in with several minors. Records also revealed that Milewski had images and videos depicting minors engaged in explicit conduct, which he had requested and received from minors. He was arrested in July 2025.
