Search warrant leads to Fort Myers man's arrest on drug possession charges

A Fort Myers man was arrested after police executed a search warrant on his home during an investigation into illegal narcotics activity. According to the Fort Myers Police Department, officers with the Vice/Narcotics Unit and the SWAT team executed a search warrant on a home on South Street. During the search, officers found two firearms: a Glock .40 caliber pistol and a semi-automatic rifle. Also found in the home were: Approximately two grams of crack cocaine 13.1 grams of marijuana packaged for sale Drug packaging materials A digital scale Police arrested Scottie Alexander, 39, who faces charges of possession of cocaine with intent to sell and possession of marijuana with intent to sell.
