SWFL parents can track their child's school bus live on their phone

SOUTHWEST FLORIDA (WINK) — Thousands of students across southwest Florida will be riding the bus to and from school this year. For peace of mind, parents can track their child's school bus in real-time using a mobile app.

Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto and Lee County school districts all use the Where's the Bus app. Hendry County has a similar tracking system called Here Comes the Bus.

The app provides up to the minute arrivals to take the stress out of morning pick ups and afternoon drop offs. Parents can receive push notifications when their child boards the bus.
