Man accused of probation violation after arrest for throwing bricks through Lee County businesses

A man is wanted on four different warrants after being accused of violating his probation stemming from an arrest on criminal mischief charges. According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, Jabier James, 29, was arrested on criminal mischief charges after throwing large bricks and stones through several businesses along US-41. The businesses included a gym, two check-cashing stores and a house of worship, Crime Stoppers said. Deputies recognized James on surveillance footage from multiple previous encounters. James spent seven months in prison and was released in June. He is accused of then violating his parole and has been on the run since, Crime Stoppers said. According to Crime Stoppers, James has been committing crimes since he was 12 years old and has been booked into jail 28 times on a list of charges that includes grand theft, burglary, drugs, battery, fraud and indecent exposure. James is 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighs 260 pounds, and has a tattoo of music notes and stars on his right arm and "XOXO Mercedes" on his neck. He was last known to be living in northwest Cape Coral, Crime Stoppers said.
