Cars on 5th finds new home on Naples Bayshore Drive

NAPLES, Fla. (WINK) — Cars on 5th is relocating to Naples Bayshore Drive for 2027, marking what organizers are calling a transformative moment in the event's evolution.

The City of Naples rejected the permit for Cars on 5th, a signature event for the city. There were concerns over growing crowds, road closures, public safety, and event size.

"This move represents the natural evolution of Cars on 5th," said Tom O'Riordan, CEO of Naples Automotive Experience.

"Naples Bayshore Drive gives us the canvas to build something truly special. We're creating a destination experience that honors our automotive heritage while introducing new dimensions of programming, hospitality and community engagement. Our collectors, sponsors and guests will experience Cars on 5th in entirely new ways," O'Riordan said.

The Jetport Reception and Fashion Event are scheduled for Feb. 5, 2027. Cars on 5th Naples Bayshore is scheduled for Feb. 6, 2027.

Ticketing information and car registration will be available in late August.
