Cars on 5th in Naples announced on Friday that the event will relocate to Bayshore Drive in 2027, ending months of debate with the City of Naples over logistical and safety concerns in their previous location. in a social media post, the organizers say that this new location, outside of the Naples city limits, will provide room for growth while maintaining the intimate experience that defines the event. “This move represents the natural evolution of Cars on 5th,” said Tom O’Riordan, CEO, Naples Automotive Experience. “Naples Bayshore Drive gives us the canvas to build something truly special. We're creating a destination experience that honors our automotive heritage while introducing new dimensions of programming, hospitality, and community engagement. Our collectors, sponsors, and guests will experience Cars on 5th in entirely new ways.” Cars on 5th, the luxury and exotic car showcase, lived on Fifth Avenue South in the City of Naples for more than 20 years. Back in June, the Naples City Council voted to deny the show's 2027 application, citing growing safety and logistical concerns. While the city said that it wanted to work with organizers on a revised proposal, O'Riordan said that the city's proposed changes would not have been financially viable. He decided in July to not move forward with the event within the Naples city limits. Cars on 5th Naples Bayshore is scheduled for Saturday, February 6 of next year.
