Double-lane closure on Edison Bridge impacts traffic in Fort Myers

A double-lane closure is impacting northbound traffic on the Edison Bridge in Fort Myers on Tuesday. According to the Florida Department of Transportation Southwest Florida, the inside lanes and shoulder of the bridge are closed first to allow crews to maintain bridge joints. After the work is completed, the closure will shift to the outside lanes and shoulder northbound on the bridge, FDOT Southwest Florida said.
