Fort Myers man accused of threatening to kill deputy during arrest at Lehigh Acres gas station

A Fort Myers man is accused of threatening to kill a deputy with the Lee County Sheriff's Office during an arrest at a Lehigh Acres gas station. According to LCSO, deputies responded to the 7-Eleven on Lee Boulevard after receiving reports of a masked man trying to steal $5 worth of rolling papers on Sunday. The suspect, Steven Rosario Jr., 21, was found across the street at another gas station. When approached, deputies say Rosario Jr. resisted and tried to fight them. Eventually a stun gun was deployed. While being placed in handcuffs, Rosario Jr. reportedly made multiple threats to kill a deputy. Rosario Jr. was arrested and faces charges of resisting an officer, possession of marijuana, theft and making threats to a law enforcement officer.
